The Rare Breed Triggers FRT-RD3 (SEF) upgrades HK MP5/SP5 platforms with a forced reset trigger system, offering faster follow-up shots while maintaining legal semi-auto operation. Drop-in installation, no gunsmithing required.
Designed for HK roller-delayed platforms like the MP5, MP5K, SP5 and SP5K, the FRT-RD3 (SEF) is a duty-grade forced reset trigger from Rare Breed Triggers. This 3-position trigger group features a Safe/Semi/FRT fire selector and is compatible with SEF-style grip frames. The forced reset mechanism allows quicker follow-up shots by automatically resetting the trigger while maintaining one round discharged per trigger pull in compliance with federal law. Machined and assembled in the US, it installs as a direct drop-in replacement without fitting required. The design provides consistent trigger performance for competitive shooting or tactical use, installed in minutes with basic tools. Ships complete with all necessary components ready for immediate use in your HK platform.
